Living Room Ideas: Black White Turquoise Yellow and Red

My babe and I have been trying to come up with decorating ideas for our house. We have very different styles and tastes, so it hasn't been an easy task. While we were shopping we came up with a color pallet which was a major break-through. The colors we chose are these:

The black and white square represent the colors together. The biggest squares represent our main colors which are black &white, turquoise, and dark brown wood. The three smallest squares are our accent colors. They are yellow, rustic red, and canvas or light beige. This last color, I felt, would help me tie in the color of our wall and carpet.

So after staying up late last night and finishing this morning, I came up with some great ideas. I put together this nifty little visual board together. I showed it to my honey and he loved it! I'm so excited! It's just a start to give me some ideas and see elements that we both would enjoy in one living room. I think the result is awesome. Maybe after we finish the whole house we will have to go into business and do this for others. If we can make our own very opposite styles mesh, then we can do that for anyone! lol
